ICAP recognizes and rewards individuals and organizations that contribute to making the performing arts a vehicle for creating peace. Recipients include: Nelson Mandela, Carlos Santana (who later joined the ICAP board) Claude Nobs (founder, Montreux Jazz Festival) and Zubin Mehta.

Also, through the generous support of private individuals, ICAP is awarding vital financial contributions to deserving students in various artistic fields.
